Luke 8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: your faith has made you whole; go in peace.
Affirmation is the act of giving a public, official announcement, inclusive of emotional support and encouragement. This is the power of what Christ does for us when we come to him with our life issues and trust him to heal our brokenness. He heals and he "affirms" us. The woman with the issue of blood had been to many physicians seeking healing, yet her situation grew worse. In her desperation, she reached out to the great physician and exchanged her faith for her fears. In doing so, she not only received her healing, she gained his affirmation.
Be assured today that the one who loves you most, Christ Jesus, will affirm you and prove himself strong in your everyday life. Whatever you are facing, know that he will be there to heal and affirm your life.
