WOMAN: KNOW YOURSELF
The
'word” for meditation today is Insight “a
penetrating and often sudden understanding, as of a complex situation
or problem.”i
Wow...ladies I must be honest, when I began to search out the true
meaning of this word I was floored! I want to point out two major
things about this definition.
1)Penetrating
& Sudden
: I don't know about you, but God has often given me sudden,
penetrating insight about myself. Whether good things that he can see
in me that I did not see at the time, or areas of improvement, where
I needed to change and didn't realize it. Either way, both came
suddenly and went straight to my heart. Many times God will show us
things at the most unexpected times and situations. One of the things
you can always rest in, is the fact that he is always right, his
revelation is always true, and he only reveals in love. Allow him to
give you those moments that change your life forever. How you receive
his insight about you will determine how you see yourself. This leads
me to our next inspirational thought, Complex....
2) Complex:
If
you are completely honest with yourself, you can admit that you are
a complex being...(smile). Your feelings, thoughts, perception, and
even appearance can be complex or difficult to understand. God made
you this way on purpose. His plan was for you to be searched out by
someone worthy of your true essence and value. I believe that when
he made the “woman” he intentionally wired her to demonstrate how marvelous his insight is . When you look at yourself, try to
comprehend how vast Gods love is. It is truly unsearchable. You, with
all of your complexity, are a mirror image of that love. I am amazed
by His tremendous ability to express love to mankind, through the
beauty of “the woman.” Never despise your complexity...instead,
embrace it as Gods wisdom on display.
THOUGHT
FOR MEDITATION:
Ephesians
3:17-19 KJV
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
